I find it really enjoyable to show DC friends and family visiting from out of town. For one, tourists seem to know way more about the city than I do and have a lot of interesting knowledge to share. I also find it more fun to share in their enthusiasm because it reminds how much I take this wonderful city for granted. (all images taken with my iphone)
